Maria sadly passed away on the 9th February 2024, aged 87 years.
Loved and missed by all.
Reunited with her late husband, Archimede.

Dearest Maria Rest in Heavenly Peace. I have known you for most of my life. I came to visit my uncle from Poland for a very short time, but my life's destiny was not to return back to Poland. I met you for the very first time at Old Addenbrooke's, as it then was, and we were asked to work together, at which point we became very good friends. After meeting my husband and getting married, we had 2 children and chose you and Archie to be their Godparents - the BEST Godparents in the world. Thank you, Maria, for your precious friendship. You were a beautiful person inside and out. Your genuine, sincere, and pure heart was always there for all to see. You opened your heart and your home to us all. You welcomed us all to your table, to share your meal with you - the amazing cook that you were. Rest in Heavenly Peace, my Sister in Christ. We all will miss you so much. God in Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. You will stay in our hearts forever, as we will never forget you. We look forward to meeting again some day, some place. God Bless you forever, my beautiful Soulmate. You truly were the most special person and there will never be another you. Rest in Peace, my true friend. In loving memory.
