Mrs Romayne Edwards

On 16 March 2024, one week before her 89th birthday, we said a sad goodbye to an amazing lady, Romayne Edwards. Over the years, Romayne touched so many people with her kindness, caring nature and enthusiasm for life. She was a much loved wife to the late Brian, Mum to Robert and Julie, Nana to James, Samuel, Rebecca and Oliver and cherished older sister to Pete.  She was well known throughout the town, working as a cook at Greneway School for over 20 years and had many friends in Royston. She supported Brian during his long years of playing for the Royston Town band and hosted numerous visitors from the twin town of Grossalmerode. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
